The b&b Along the old walk to the sea, at the Foro Italico of Palermo, the historical heart of the city, there is this elegant luxury home inside of the sixteenth century walls that once surrounded the town defining its perimeter.The so called il Bastione is not far from the well-known quattro canti and only 50 meters from the sea: indeed, crossing the street of the Foro Italico you are inside of a wonderful green park that arrives to the sea, ideal place for long and relaxing walks.From the terrace of the house youll have a beautiful panorama: the gulf of Palermo and the Mount Pellegrino which, as Goethe wrote, enchants the foreigners with its beauty. By night, the place remains very quiet, although it becomes very lively, particularly in the summer, thanks to the numerous, open-air and typical restaurants and pubs, and to many cultural events like concerts and shows organized in this part of the city, called Kalsa.

The B&B is located at number 8 of the street of the same name at the fourth floor in a building from the end of the 19th century, palazzo Rutelli, designed by E. Basile, the architect of the famous Teatro Massimo. The place is very near to the central station which is connected by shutteltrains to the airport. It is also near to the starting point of shuttel buses to the airport (Prestia Comandè) as well as some regional and international buses and a lot of city buses to the near surroundings (Monreale, Bagheria) or to the beach of Mondello. Located in the old part of Palermo, the B&B is ideal to discover the numerous little streets of that area by foot in way to admire the various old buildings and churches, remains of a prestigious past. This diversity still fascinates today and shows many epochs and civilisations: the Phoenicians, Grece, Cartage, ancient Rome, the Byzantine Empire, the Arab and Norman invasions, as well as the influences of imperial Germany and the Spanish royalty and Bourbonne dinasty. All guests have free access to a terraces offering a wonderful view of the old city and the sea; you can also take the sun or to have a launch.On request a private parking can be organised and costs only a little extra. With the B&B Z.C. you will experience Sicilian hospitality. At any time, the staff will be more than happy to give you precious advises regarding cultural, artistic or gastronomically highlights. In an independent apartment, all rooms: 6 a single one of 12 m27 a double one of 25 m2 with matrimonial bed, including the possibility of another bed for a third person 8 a double one of 25 m2 with separate beds, which can be used by one or two persons are fully furnished and have height ceilings.
