It is both Hotel and Monument at the same time. It is situated in a XII Century Cistercian Monastery with a beautiful environment and two cloisters of Baroque and Renaissance style. In the past has been inhabited by Cistercians and later Benedictine Monks. It has been rehabilitated in 1999, supporting the beauty and original structure of the Monastery and turning into the first Hotel-Monument of Galicia. In 928 the Counts Alvaro and Sabita founded the San Clodio Monastery.
